Custom-made cutting tool manufacturing and re-grinding

July, 1973	Osamu Kobayashi started cutting tool grinding operation at Nakazato-cho, Chuo-ku in Hamamatsu.
March, 1976	Relocated in Kuniyoshi-cho, Chuo-ku.
1977	Started manufacturing and development of diamond cutting tools.
July, 1981	Established Kobayashi Marunoko Kenma-jo limited.
July, 1993	Relocated the head office and plant to the current address (1332 Kuniyoshi-cho, Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu-shi)
July, 2000	Changed the organization and business name to Kobayashi DIA Ltd. Increased the capital to 10,000, 000 JPY.
April, 2001	Started sales operation in China, expanding sales networks in South East Asian countries, America, Korea and Middle East.
June, 2003	Established the joint sales office, HANGZHOU HIRONO TOOLS CO.,LTD in China.
December, 2004	Established the full ownership manufacturing company, KOBAYASHI DIAMOND TOOLS (HANGZHOU), CO.,LTD. in China.
March, 2012	Increased the capital to 25,000,000 JPY.
September, 2013	Acquired ISO9001: 2008 （applied to the fields of manufacturing, sales, re-grinding and repair of diamond cutting tools）.
April, 2015	Established the business tie-up between SAW-KENMA(THAILAND) Co, Ltd who operates re-grinding, repair and sales of super had tip/metal/diamond tip saws in Thailand.
July, 2016	Osamu Kobayashi was inaugurated as the chairman of the board. Jumpei Motoki was inaugurated as the president.
