PCD (polycrystalline diamond sintering body) carefully selected from inside and outside the country is used for our diamond cutting tools, and the superior wear resistance has been recognised and has contributed to the field of processing in the wide range of industries.
At manufacturing/processing sites of printed circuit board/construction materials/wood as well as nonferrous metal in particular, we have won high evaluations throughout the world. Our technology is built upon fusion of craftsmanship with experiences of hand processing and substantial modern facilities. To support any complicated custom-made cutting tool, we own and utilise over 30 NC processing machines equipped with the latest technology, such as electric discharge machines, wire processing machines, NC grinders of VOLLMER and WALTER from Germany, ANCA from Australia and so on.
More than in our latest equipment, we take a pride in our engineers who have ceaselessly acquired and inherited craftsmanship since the company establishment. Enriched know-hows are surely inherited from our craftsmen to our next generation.
All our production staff has experienced abrasion with the tool grinder of Makino fraise machine C-40, who are so to speak craftsmen. Every single tool is original for every customer. There is no tool that we take for re-grinding which state is the same as others. Therefore, optimal processing is required after investigation for the state of the tool. It takes more than a switch to process it even with the latest equipment.
Our cutting tools are produced thanks to integration of the latest equipment, intuitions and experiences which our engineers have won through making tools by hand. In addition, more than 15 C-40 tool grinders are fully operated all time delivering delicate work which cannot be performed even with the latest facilities. Kobayashi DIA's irreplaceable property is the engineers who do not spare an effort day and night with a pride as an expert in each operation process.
We pursue improvement in quality with the perfect system to live up to customer's expectation and trust, paying minute attention to the control and inspection in processes as well as the final shipping inspection. We appropriately inspect our products in processes and at shipping, utilising a 3-D measuring device and an electric microscope as well as 7 projectors such as Nikon included.
